Hundreds of Balvikas students have
been admitted to the diploma in Sathya Sai Education in the
Benedictory session of the two-day All India Balvikas Convention
held here in Prasanthi Nilayam this morning.
In the 2nd and concluding day of the Convention, the programme
commenced at 0820 hrs. with a short Band display by the Sri Sathya
Sai Balvikas, Alike, playing “Akhanda Jyoti Jalaao…” followed by
“Govinda Krishna Jai…”
A procession of Balvikas gurus and officials carrying the ‘Wand Of
Transformation’ then entered the Sai Kulwant premises to the
accompaniment of a song, “Sarvaroga Nivarini Gayathri…”, sung by all
the students in unison.
A mass invocation followed next, a fervent prayer to Mother Sai,
singing “Akhanda Jyoti Jalaao…”.
Enumerating on the significance of the ‘Wand Of Transformation”, a
little Balvikas girl from Pune shared her thoughts next, saying
“Bhagawan’s Love Is The Magic Wand…” that the students should work
on with, to restore the pristine glory of Bharat, a legacy that can
be passed on to the future generations.
The Scroll of Oath was then placed at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet. Ms
Kamala Pandya, National Dy Coordinator for Balvikas, then
administered the Oath to the passing out batch of students, who
repeated after her.
Young alumnus from Bengaluru, Sri Avinash Vasudev spoke next
addressing the assembly of students. Quoting Bhagawan’s golden
promise, “If you take one step, I will take hundreds towards you”,

is the ‘kavacham’ (protective shield) protecting the students from
the temptations of the lurking world. Sri Sathya Sai Education is
for life and not for living, and the real Diploma will be conferred
by Bhagawan, observed the veteran speaker.
Achievements awards for excellence were given away to 22 outstanding
