US pilgrimage: Play, 11 July
All Our Relations The US children perform a play about the American Native Indian perspective on spirituality, using the medicine wheel. The native indians believe that rocks, trees, earth, animals, fish --all are our relations and have to be used and treated with respect. We hear a native indian chant by a native Indian. The image shows George Walking Bear giving Bhagavan a rose.

Sahasra Poorna Chandra Darshana
Santhi Mahotsavam, 17 Nov 2008 |
||
Day 3 (conclusion). This yajna is performed to commemorate a person's living to see 1000 full moons. Because the time between full moons averages 29.531 days, this happens some time after the completion of 81 years. The yajna is conducted for the benefit of the individual. In this case, the individual is the Avatar of the age, and the yajna was performed for a greater purpose: to bring peace and happiness in the world and help redeem man from the cycle of birth and death. Continued below. |

Hariharan, well trained in Carnatic and Hindustani music, has had great success in his fusion experiments. Though he started his career as a Ghazal singer, he found a grander following in fusion music with his album in 1996. Since then he is much sought after in the light music scene as well. |
