Peacock Feather that has been eternally blessed by Bhagawan Sri Krishna, by
being adorned on His head, thus synonymous with Him, came alive presenting rare
gems from the Avataric life of Bhagawan Sri Krishna.
Weaving the story quite aesthetically, artistically and colourfully even as
the Peacock Feather came forth at intervals narrating wonderful tales from the
epochal life, this evening’s assembly sat in sublime silence drinking the nectar
of Krishna devotion.
Beginning with Mayur Pankh narrating its fascinating tale, of its association
with Bhagawan Krishna, that was hand-picked by Bhagawan to adorn on His head
during one of His childhood jungle sojourn, where He was playing with His mates,
the story unravelled to a series of interesting Krishna tales. Stories
illustrated included Bhagawan coming as a friend of a little school boy who
showed his apprehension in crossing the jungle en-route his school, Little
Krishna showing Vishwaroopa to Mother Yasodha in His opened mouth, Gopikas
wonderful tale of supreme devotion etc.
Continuing with the narration, the Feather also introduced some of the
illustrious devotees of Bhagawan Sri Krishna, namely, Thukkaram, Sri Krishna
Chaitanya, Aandal and Meera Bai.
The presentation ended with an announcement on the Advent of Bhagawan’s Kali
Yuga Avatar as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai.
The presentation was interspersed with beautiful dance and song sequences.
Bhajans by the state troupe continued and Mangala Arathi was offered at 1815
