Mon, Feb 28, 2011:
On this final day of the passing month, in the evening, Bhagawan presented
Himself at 1900 hrs. on the dot, emerging from Yajur Mandiram coming into the
assembly in Sai Kulwant. Finishing His round of darshan among the thousands
assembled at the twilight, Bhagawan came on to the dais marked by accentuated
bhajans.
As bhajans continued, Bhagawan sat on for the next ten minutes before calling
for Mangala Arathi at 1910 hrs. Moving off the dais after the Arathi, Bhagawan
listened to a few devotees before boarding the car, retiring to Yajur Mandiram,
bringing the curtains down on this final day of February 2011.
Usual buzz and excitement was once again evident as huge applause from the
gents' side greeted Bhagawan as He returned from the dais. The rejoicement was
such an infectious one that it spread on to the other end with ladies' going
agog, joining the celebrations.
Earlier, during the day at noon, Bhagawan came out of Yajur Mandiram setting
Himself off for a 'stroll' going up to the Railway Station junction. Bhagawan
returned via western gate at 1250 hrs. Lucky ones who could time it well waited
en route, at vantage positions, earning a rare afternoon glimpse of The Lord.

Sun, Feb 27, 2011:
There is an uncommon thrill in welcoming The Lord in Sai Kulwant in the morning
hours. This Sunday morning turned out to become very 'special' as it earned a
surprise darshan, a rarity these days. Reciprocating to The Lord's magnanimous
gesture, a fully charged up Sai Kulwant welcomed Him with great devotional
fervour.
When bhajans continued beyond the scheduled arathi time at 0940 hrs. Sai Kulwant
got the first hint of a possible morning darshan. There was an unusual bustle in
the assembly and devotees started pouring in, filling in vacant spots around.
Bhajans peaked to intensity and the whole of Sai Kulwant was fully charged up,
anticipating the Divine arrival.
Bhagawan came in at 1035 hrs., in His car. As is His wont these days, Bhagawan's
car moved at a slow pace to complete the round before coming on to the verandah.
Even as He reached the spot outside the Interview Room, Bhagawan asked for
Mangala Arathi. With the Arathi song resounding in the Sai Kulwant, Bhagawan's
car moved on, to go for a reverse round, granting yet another golden darshan.
Covering the gents' side, Bhagawan's car took a detour to drive past the main
entrance, leaving the precincts to the Hanuman Top. Hanuman was Lord's greatest
devotee, who took extreme care of His Lord's interests, in the Treta. To that
devotee, who is believed to be living eternally and who is 'guarding' Prasanthi
Nilayam with his watchful eyes from the highest point, Bhagawan paid a visit
this morning. Lord's all conquering love for His greatest devotee!
Revelling in the morning glory, as
the weekend geared up praying for one more session with The Lord, the mood was
upbeat this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam. Sai Kulwant was full and with
bhajan session continued in to the second hour, with the time clock ticking
away, the assembly was ticking off every passing second counting yet another
blessing of Darshan!
Bhagawan arrived at 1905 hrs. and went for His usual round of
darshan. Coming on to the verandah, straight from the aisle at the gents' side,
Bhagawan moved into the to the Interview Room for a five minutes break, before
emerging to glide past the upper verandah to come on to the dais at 1920 hrs. En
route, many earned His blessings that included a group of higher secondary boys,
seeking special blessings before the ensuing Board Exams. Bhagawan attended to
the group, blessing pens and vibhuti Prasadam, before coming on to the dais.
Full throated bhajans continued and Bhagawan sat quite
attentive, glancing over, at times giving finger beats. After a twenty minute
session, Bhagawan asked for Mangala Arathi at 1940 hrs., halting the session
abruptly. Bhagawan left the dais soon after Mangala Arathi to retire to Yajur
Mandiram at 1945 hrs. |

Sat, Feb 26, 2011: The
day's weather profile took a twist in the afternoon with sky turning overcast
eventually presenting a 4 o' clock drizzle here in Prasanthi Nilayam. And in the
evening that wore the sepia tinge, Poornachandra Auditorium once again turned
active with over 200 alumni from the state of Tamil Nadu with their immediate
families assembling at the venue praying for "Prema Bandham", an alumni meet
with The Lord!
Bhagawan arrived at the auditorium just after 1900 hrs. and
was welcomed with Poornakumbham and Vedam chanting. Two special cakes
commemorating the occasion were blessed by Bhagawan before He assumed the seat
on the specially made dais. A group of boys made a beeline on to the dais
showing various project activities, briefing Him in detail. Bhagawan patiently
listened to all of them and blessed the projects. Next was the turn of the music
troupe from the state alumni that presented some soulful renderings.
Soon, Bhagawan set out to move through the rows of men and
women blessing them with closer darshan and Padanamaskar. Blessed prasadam and
special gifts were distributed to the entire group of over 600. Bhagawan
accepted Mangala Arathi before retiring to come into the main darshan venue, Sai
Kulwant Hall.
At Sai Kulwant, bhajans were on and with Bhagawan's arrival
at 1935 hrs., once again there was an exhibition of devotional fervour with
hundreds of backbenchers at the ladies' end got on to their feet to catch a
precious glimpse of The Lord moving in the car. Gents' side followed suit and
Bhagawan, completing the round came directly on to the verandah through the
aisle at gents' side. After a brief pause of five minutes, Bhagawan came on to the
dais at 1945 hrs. and bhajan reached a crescendo. After two bhajans Bhagawan
indicated for Mangala Arathi.
Blessing the audience with abhayahastha Bhagawan
left the dais at 1950 hrs. to retire to Yajur Mandiram at 1955 hrs.

Thu, Feb 24, 2011: Two full rounds in the
car, at a very slow pace, snaking His way through the assembly of devotees sums
up this holy day's darshan story in Prasanthi Nilayam. Bhagawan emerged at 1845

Bhagawan paused a couple of times, interacting with some devotees that included
a group of old students from Tamil Nadu, gearing up for a state level 'Prema
Bandham" during this weekend.
Even as He reached the verandah, Bhagawan asked for Mangala Arathi and with
Arathi on, the car moved past the verandah, to the gents' side, going for a
reverse round, returning to Yajur Mandiram at 1900 hrs.
Earlier, the bhajan session has been enhanced by the tiny tots of Primary
School, who sang with great devotional fervour. A group of Badagas of the Blue
Mountains, Ooty, has been in Prasanthi for the past three days, came on a Parthi
Yatra. The Badagas, in pristine white attire coupled with typcial head gears,
stood out as a special group in the Sai Kulwant Assembly.

to steal a better glance of the Lord.

students, sat in silent devotion, with many holding plain paper greetings, that
read, 'We Love You Swami".
Blessing the audience with His ever benevolent glance and intermittent
abhayahasthas, Bhagawan retired to Yajur Mandiram at 1930 hrs.

It's been sometime since Prasanthi last witnessed a 'distribution' programme in
the Divine Presence, distribution of implements, serving the needy in the
society, a project model familiarised by many Parthi Yatra programmes during
past more than a couple of years. With a group of over 653 turned up under the
auspices of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh, this evening was
to host yet another 'beneficiary' programme, tagged under the popular Sri Sathya

After His full round, Bhagawan appeared on the dais as bhajans rose to higher

Arathi song was on and Bhagawan's attention fell on to the devotees; His palm
turned upward and moved in circular; index finger scripted 'something' in God's
own language, in the vaccum...Even as Arathi song was coming to an end, His
blessing hands went up in abhayahastha, repeatedly. In the meantime boys got
laddu prasadam for blessing.
Post Arathi Bhagawan sat on, watching over the Prasadam distribution. There was
slight jostle at the gents' side as many were vying for Divine Prasadam.
Bhagawan turned His attention, scanning through the section; result was absolute
silence; their quench for Prasadam was outdone in no time by His all conquering
benevolent glance.
As He left the dais, there was applause from the public. Leaving the dais

Come Thursday Prasanthi gets a special feeling, a day that earned the special
boon of attention from The Avatar, as His chosen day.
This evening, Bhagawan emerged at 1920 hrs. and went for His usual round of
darshan. The house was full, enjoying the Thursday ambience of the Abode of
Supreme Peace. Coming on to the dais, Bhagawan adorned the dais and bhajan was
in full swing. After twenty minutes on the stage, at 1940 hrs. Bhagawan
indicated for Mangala Arathi. A long pause of silence ensued as Bhagawan sat on.
Boys got busied in distributing prasadam.
Watching Bhagawan engaged in silent action is a real treat. His silent gestures
are no ordinary acts but suffused with great import. As He sat through after the
Arathi, shifting His gaze from one to another, with hands often weaving
gestures, the audience turned still with their gaze settling at the crest-jewel
adorning the centre-stage. Fixing His gaze at the audience Bhagawan even
scribbled 'something' in the vacuum, with His index finger.
Bringing the session to a close on this blessed Thursday, Bhagawan left the dais
at 1952 hrs. retiring to Yajur Mandiram in His car. Being Thursday, Primary
School was in full attendance for evening darshan. Once again the audience gave
a round of applause to Bhagawan as He was leaving the dais...a human act of
gratification.
